The Dog and Ducket

You walk into the Dog and Ducket and find many people there - a rowdy bunch in the far corner, a group of guitars (and a few figures hiding in between) by the bar, and a lone soul in the near corner, wearing a blue jumper and smoking a cigarette.

Strangely, the barman is not only serving beers to the guitars at the bar, but also large plates of fried food. He is taking bits off the plates as he passes them to his customers, and eating them; they do not seem to mind. When you ask one girl near you why she is letting the bar-man take her food, she tells you that Dave is just like that - and would you argue with him? You come to the conclusion that you wouldn't. Not without help. She says all this in a sarcastic tone that leaves you a little uneasy, so you decide to
