The Northern End

The B40 is a less-than-wholly inspiring place - perhaps because the rest of the village is so pleasant. The pollution from the traffic rates at about 1.3% of total abomination, which is therefore not partcularly good. But almost 77 times better than Coulsdon.

At this end of the road are two imposing buildings: the Zoo, and the Sports Hall. The Sports Hall is the largest such building you remember ever having seen, and looks so big that you expect it could house the egos of a whole football team.
